Nicole Hedrick

Vice President for Human Resources, PPD

Nicole Hedrick currently serves as the Vice President for Human Resources for PPD, an international publicly traded company.

Prior to this position, she served as Chief HR Officer for the world’s largest academic clinical research organization and part of Duke University School of Medicine.

She also worked as the Executive Director of Global Mobility Immigration with IBM, where she was responsible for developing and managing policy, as well as global programs and process execution, while focusing on operational excellence and compliance.

Tracy Lockwood

CFO, Catholic Diocese of Lincoln

Tracy Lockwood is the Chief Financial Officer for the Catholic Diocese of Lincoln. Previously Controller with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, and Assurance Senior Manager with KPMG, Tracy has almost 20 years of experience in financial management, accounting, internal controls, auditing and financial reporting.

Dr. Don W. McClure, DHA

Dr. Don W. McClure has devoted a lifelong career spanning over four decades serving those fighting cancer across the United States and internationally as the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) Chief Executive in both Nebraska and Ohio. With prior service in Missouri, Wisconsin and Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. McClure is the longest tenured CEO in the 107-year history of the American Cancer Society. He is also an international advisor for One Voice Against Cancer, Guatemala.

As a successful servant leader for one of the oldest and largest
volunteer health organizations in the world, Dr. McClure’s expertise in national voluntary health organization management includes positions of local, state and national level leadership in field services, fundraising, communications, crisis management, human resources and program development.

Dr. Denis McNamara

Dr. Denis McNamara currently serves as Associate Professor and
Executive Director of the Center for Beauty and Culture at Benedictine College.

Prior to this position, Dr. McNamara earned a BA from Yale University and a PhD in Architectural History from the University of Virginia. Dr. McNamara previously served as Assistant Director and faculty member at the Liturgical Institute of the University of Saint Mary of the Lake, as well as serving on the Art and Architecture Commission of the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Dr. McNamara is the author of numerous articles on theological
art and architecture in various academic journals and has authored three award-winning books. He also co-hosts the podcast, “The Liturgy Guys.”

Jack A, Newman, Jr.

Jack A. Newman, Jr. currently operates Jack Newman Advisory Services, a company he started upon retiring as Executive Vice President from Cerner Corporation. Prior to opening Jack Newman Advisory Services, Mr. Newman spent the lion’s share of his career in the healthcare sector including having departmental administrative responsibility for the University of Kansas Hospital, serving as Partner-in-Charge of the National Healthcare Strategy Practice at KPMG and lastly Cerner Corporation, a large U.S. health information technology company, where as Executive Vice President he was responsible for the majority of domestic clients.

In addition to running his company, Mr. Newman serves or has also served on several Boards of Directors, including Benedictine College where he is the Chairman of the Board, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, Enterprise Bank and Trust, EPR Properties (NYSE), Hallbrook Country Club, and the University of Kansas Health System.

Mr. Newman is a graduate of St. Benedict’s College and obtained a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration as well as his CPA certificate.

Peter Pin

President,  Arete Consulting Corporation

Peter Pin heads a company that uses a virtues based approach to transforming corporate culture and improving financial performance. Prior to that, Peter served as Vice President for Verizon Enterprise Solutions in the Public Sector and has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry encompassing sales, engineering and business development. He brings his vast experience to academia, and is currently teaching at George Washington University, Catholic University of America, and lecturing at Georgetown University. He mentors young professionals and veterans on navigating business challenges and reaching their career goals.

Alan Sears

Alan E. Sears, KSG

Founder, Executive Director, and Senior Counselor

Alan E. Sears serves leaders and apostolates as a non-legal counselor and consultant at Kingdom Alliance Builders. Prior to his current role, Alan founded the Alliance Defending Freedom and ADF International. He served as the first president, CEO, and general counsel leading all strategic initiatives from 1993-2017. During his tenure, ADF rose to rank as the number one and most successful law firm in the United States practicing before the Supreme Court earning victories as lead counsel for religious freedom and freedom of conscience over in a five-year period. Alan was responsible for growing ADF from its humble beginning with $5,000.00 to start out to a $60,000,000 a year powerhouse for religious freedom and freedom of conscience.
 

Alan has served in numerous positions within the Reagan and Bush administrations at the Departments of Justice and Interior. He also chaired Catholic Education Arizona and served on the Diocese of Phoenix School Board. He has received recognition from many Catholic, other Christian, and legal entities for his work in legal counsel and with the Church. Most recently Alan and his wife Paula were invested in the Equestrian Order of  St. Gregory the Great as Knight and Dame per Pope Francis, the highest award given by the Holy Father to laypersons. He has co-authored/authored several books, his most recent, The Soul of a President: The Untold Story of Dwight D. Eisenhower’s Faith.

 

Father Luke Turner, OSB

Director of College Ministry at Benedictine College

Before answering the call to priesthood, Father Luke Turner enjoyed a successful career in the payments industry as Senior Vice President for Mastercard International.

He earned an Executive Master of Business Administration at Benedictine College and completed seminary studies at St. Meinrad Seminary. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 29, 2019.

Christopher J. Beaudet

President of Diocesan Services J.C.D
Christopher hails from Massena, New York. He obtained a B.A. in History and Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame; a Master of Divinity and an M.A. in Dogmatic Theology from the University of Saint Thomas (Saint Paul, MN); a License (J.C.L.) and Doctorate in Canon Law (J.C.D.) from the Catholic University of America; and an M.A. in History from Boston College.

Before joining the Steier Group, Christopher served as Vice Rector for Administration at the Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity of the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In that role, Christopher managed academic faculty, support staff and student affairs. Christopher supervised and collaborated with the Vice President for Institutional  Advancement as they worked to grow the annual campaign for operational expenses, while also overseeing a successful $28 million capital campaign in
support of the seminary.

After more than six years of experience with the Steier Group managing campaigns for a variety of Catholic high schools, parishes, and dioceses, Christopher now serves as President of Diocesan Services. Chiefly responsible for engaging the hierarchy and diocesan leaders across the United States and Canada, Christopher gains familiarity with the unique pastoral context of each diocesan Church, assists in identifying and defining their funding needs, and then orchestrates the Steier Group’s design and implementation of planning studies and capital campaigns to address them.
